Cassandra Cushman is a New York based actor and singer. Originally from Portland, Oregon, she holds an MFA in Acting from University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, where she trained with director Daniel Sullivan. She recently appeared in The Public's 2017 production of JULIUS CAESAR, and has also appeared in NYC with BAM, The Drama League, and Roundabout Theatre Company. Regional credits include work with Piven Theatre, Notre Dame Shakespeare Festival, Riverside Theatre, and The Shakespeare Theatre of NJ. Equally at home in classical work, musicals and contemporary comedies, Cassandra is also a teacher and hopes to empower young women through the arts. When she's not on stage, she is an avid yogi and baker.
