Cassandra Cushman is a New York based actor and singer. Originally from Portland, Oregon, she holds an MFA in Acting from University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, where she trained with director Daniel Sullivan. She has appeared in The Public's controversial production of JULIUS CAESAR, and has also appeared in NYC with BAM, The Drama League, and Roundabout Theatre Company. Regional credits include work with Piven Theatre, Notre Dame Shakespeare Festival, Riverside Theatre, Backroom Shakespeare Project, and The Shakespeare Theatre of NJ.

She has trained at The Second City and on-camera with Heidi Marshall Studio and Film Club London.

Equally at home in classical work, on-camera, musicals and in contemporary comedies, Cassandra is also an astrologer, and hopes to empower young people through the arts.

She is a proud member of AEA.
